Marylin Woodman

I was born in Lahaina, Maui and raised in the San Bernardino Area of Southern California. I joined the Army at 18 as a Signal Support Systems Specialist and was attached to the Engineers out of Hanau, Germany. I deployed twice with them then reclassed to Military Police where I deployed for the third time to Iraq.

Since leaving the Army in 2010, I’ve been employed as a 911 dispatcher, a volunteer firefighter (ppc), a Department of the Army Civilian Police Officer Patrol/SRT then finally went full time as a powerlifting coach in 2019 and launched Battle Forged Powerlifting, LLC.

I’ve competed in every equipment division throughout several federations and have been awarded numerous State, National and World Records and train athletes with the same accolades. I am a current World Referee, Pro Multiply, elite raw and singleply lifter.

I train out of Pillar Strength Gym in Broken Arrow, OK.
